In a joint Israeli Navy, Air Force and intelligence operation, the ‘Karin A’, a ship carrying weapons for Fatah in the Gaza Strip, was boarded and seized in the Red Sea.

The operation was carried out by Israeli Navy Commando Unit 13 forces, who arrived by helicopter and took control of the ship, which was loaded with 50 tons of guns, ammunition, missiles and explosive devices purchased by the Palestinian Authority.
