Thanks to precise intelligence provided by the Shabak, six senior Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists were eliminated, and hundreds of targets, including rocket stockpiles, headquarters, and sites for the manufacture of explosives and weapons were attacked. The operation was successful because of the close cooperation between intelligence units and the Israeli Air Force's operational capabilities.
