Operation "Susannah" was a covert military intelligence operation in Egypt. Local Jewish youths were recruited and trained by an intelligence agent to carry out sabotage operations against Western targets in Egypt.

The goal was to undermine relations between Egypt and the United States/Great Britain to prevent the withdrawal of Great Britain from the Suez Canal. Due to an operational malfunction, the group was exposed and its members were arrested and prosecuted. Two were hanged, six received prison sentences, and one committed suicide.

This incident became publicly known as “Lavon Affair." The network's commander, Avri Elad, was accused of betrayal and imprisoned. The head of IDF Intelligence, Binyamin Gibli, was dismissed, and Defense Minister Pinhas Lavon was forced to resign.
