"Spring of Youth" was a Military Intelligence-Mossad operation to eliminate senior operatives of the terrorist organizations in Lebanon and to attack headquarters and munitions warehouses. Sayeret Matkal, Shayetet 13 and paratroopers landed on the Lebanese coast and attacked targets in Beirut and Sidon. They eliminated senior terrorist operatives who had been involved in terrorist attacks and the massacre of the athletes in Munich.
